Jake has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and Coaching Certification from University of Colorado.
Jake’s passion for helping families began during his time as a preschool Teacher and Family Advocate. Jake has always had a knack for supporting children with challenging behaviors and helping their families learn new ways of supporting their children in developing more effective ways of getting their needs met. Jake’s focus on the family system stems from understanding the importance of the overall health and wellbeing of the family unit. His practice is trauma informed and culturally sensitive; he values each unique individual and family he works with.
Jake enjoys learning new things and different perspectives. He is constantly picking up a new book, watching a new movie or television show. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains, with his family, friends, and dog. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle.
