Janet Womack
Health Information Manager
Janet Womack, Health Information Manager, is your go-to person for medical and education records at Youth Care. Originally from Colorado, Janet moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah on a softball scholarship and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During her career at the “U”, Janet played in the longest softball game in NCAA history, pitching all 31 innings. After her softball career as a Ute, Janet had the opportunity to travel and play softball in both New Zealand and Australia. Both are experiences she will never forget. After traveling the world, Janet taught Science and Language Arts in a residential treatment setting in Colorado. Janet moved back to Utah in 2003 and began working at Youth Care as a direct care staff with the students. Currently, as the Health Information Manager, Janet manages the medical records department and supervises the medical records clerks and administrative assistants. Should you need records, please email your request to records@youthcare.com and Janet will help you in any way she can. Janet’s passion is still softball and she has a part-time business giving private pitching lessons to Utah’s rising young athletes.
