Kennedy was born and raised in Texas and moved to Utah with her family in 2024. Kennedy has a Master’s degree in social work from Baylor University and a Bachelor’s in social work from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Kennedy has a passion for working with youth and their families and has experience as a parent educator, case manager for exploited youth, and advocate for victims of sexual violence. Kennedy was a research associate at Baylor University and explored the effects of trauma in communities and congregations. Kennedy enjoys DBT, family systems, and trauma-informed care. Kennedy believes that every person should have the opportunity to grow and heal both physically and mentally. Kennedy’s passion has driven her to pursue a career in walking alongside youth by using an empathetic and research-based approach. Kennedy enjoys being immersed in nature, spending time with her family, and making people smile. “I am so grateful to Youth Care and the support they have shown me, I am excited to do the same.”
