Risk Management Director
Stacey Astin, MBA, Director – Risk Management, oversees Youth Care’s operations as well as compliance and quality program with a focus on patient safety systems, regulatory compliance, and accreditation. Originally from Rhode Island, Stacey attended Furman University in Greenville, SC as an undergraduate and then the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where she earned her MBA/Master of International Business. In her final year of graduate school, Stacey worked as a marketing intern for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in São Paulo, Brazil. After a career as a project manager in banking, insurance, and IT recruiting, Stacey turned her talents to healthcare and joined Youth Care in 2002. Stacey’s specialty is business process improvement and, with a keen attention to detail and a creative twist, she can manage just about any project you throw at her. Stacey has been the recipient of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) Outstanding Member Award. Stacey is married with two children, and enjoys cake decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family.
