Trina Quinney-Packard, M.Ed.
Chief Executive Officer
Trina has been working for the Youth Care organization since 1998. During her career at Youth Care, she has had the opportunity to learn, grow and advance her career by working in a variety of capacities. She has been a Teacher, Academic Director, Program Director and CEO. In each of these positions, they have allowed her to expand her knowledge of the residential treatment experience for the students at Youth Care. These interactions have provided the company insights, guidance and expertise as they have expanded their services during her tenure. Trina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Southern Utah University. In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Trina has been intimately involved in leadership and service during her entire career. These are two of the most fulfilling aspects of her jobs. She was blessed with the opportunity to serve on the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs board for many years. In addition to serving on the board, she was nominated by her colleagues to leadership positions within the organization. She served as the Vice President and ultimately the President of the Association. She is currently the President of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs Utah Chapter. Service to the mental health community has defined her career and provided many life-changing experiences. In her spare time, Trina enjoys spending time with family, the great outdoors, hiking, camping, all sports, reading, traveling and most importantly being a mom to her two boys. Family first is the motto that she emulates with her leadership team at Youth Care.
